City of Yes is NYC Mayor Eric Adams’ plan to modernize zoning for more housing, more jobs, and cleaner air.

I led a team of designers to develop the City of Yes brand identity and I manage its execution.

Role: Brand Director

Timeframe: Ongoing

Organization (in-house): NYC Department of City Planning

The Challenge:

Create a cohesive identity for three complex zoning proposals to build trust and support among New York City communities.

We used the name “City of Yes” as a template to portray the many ways the proposals would support New Yorkers, playing on the phrase “City of ___” across all of our campaigns.

The Impact

Achieved brand awareness among all NYC Community Boards. Continuing to earn positive coverage, op-eds, and editorials, including from major outlets such as the Daily News. In December 2023, the first of three City of Yes proposals was approved by the City Council.
